We are the exclusive recruiter for this position with a respected industrial conglomerate. Thomas Telford Recruitment has successfully placed several expatriates with the organisation over the last two years. This is an opportunity to gain valuable client side experience on a complex industrial project. You will be working for a well-managed corporation who are active in a range of industries including: flour and edible oil production, sugar refining, port operations and real estate development. This project is a new food processing plant being built in Port Harcourt. Your role will be supervising the turnkey contractor from a civil, structural and m/e and process plant perspective. You will report directly to the project manager and come under the direction of the project management office in London. Employees welfare and security are well organised and a high standard of accommodation and facilities are provided. You will need to be a degree qualified engineer with site supervision expertise of heavy civil engineering projects. Business is conducted in English and the position demands excellent written and spoken communication skills. This is a single status appointment working a six day week with four months on and two weeks off, on top of which are local holidays and an allowance paid in the local currency.
